LASK striker Moses Usor has pledged to deliver for the Nigerian national team after scoring the decisive goal on his debut in a 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar.
The 27‑year‑old forward, who has been a regular in the Austrian club’s attack, opened the scoring in the 1‑0 win that secured Nigeria’s place in the next round of the continental competition.
Usor said he was “thrilled to start my international career with a win” and vowed to continue contributing to the Super Eagles’ campaign as they chase a spot at the 2027 AFCON finals.
His debut goal came in a match that saw Nigeria’s squad, led by coach Sunday Oliseh, dominate the midfield and finish the game with a clean sheet.
Usor’s arrival in the national side follows a string of strong performances in the Austrian Bundesliga, where he has been praised for his pace and finishing ability.
