Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has officially released the approved cut-off marks for its 2026/2027 academic session, establishing the minimum scores required for admission into various courses. The university’s announcement highlights that the Nursing and Law programs carry the highest entry thresholds among the available disciplines.
In conjunction with the release of these figures, university management issued a stern warning to prospective students, urging them to be vigilant against fraudulent activities. The administration cautioned admission seekers to disregard any unofficial communications or third-party claims regarding admissions, advising them to rely solely on official university channels to verify their status.
The release of cut-off marks is a standard procedure in the Nigerian higher education system, serving as the baseline score candidates must achieve to be considered for admission. For the 2026/2027 session, the specific emphasis on Nursing and Law reflects the high demand and competitive nature of these professional fields within the institution.
Prospective students are advised to monitor the university’s official website and authorized social media platforms for further updates regarding the admission process. The university emphasized that all official communications will be disseminated through these verified channels to ensure transparency and protect applicants from potential scams.
By setting clear academic benchmarks and issuing direct warnings against fraud, Osun State University aims to maintain the integrity of its admission process. Candidates are encouraged to prepare their applications carefully, ensuring that their scores meet or exceed the specified cut-off marks for their chosen courses of study.
