Nigerian actress Toyin Abraham has denied rumours that her marriage to actor Kolawole Ajeyemi is in crisis, after a UK‑based Nigerian social media commentator, Bukky Jesse, claimed the couple were no longer on good terms and that Toyin had moved into a newly built house.
The allegation surfaced on social media and quickly went viral, prompting the actress to respond in the comment section of one of her Instagram posts. In her reply, Toyin said, “Ako loruko baba, Omo ati emi mimo. Ori wa ko, eleda wa ko,” a statement that can be translated as a prayer against any separation between her and her husband.
She also addressed the rumours in a comment under Ajeyemi’s latest Instagram post, where she wrote, “Oko Toyin. Forever is the deal.” The comment was aimed at reassuring fans that the couple remain committed to each other.
While the source of the initial claim was a single social media commentator, no further evidence has been presented to substantiate the alleged marital discord. Toyin’s public statements, however, emphasise that she and Ajeyemi are still together and that any rumours are unfounded.
As of now, no official statement from the couple’s representatives has been released, and the actress continues to use her social media platforms to address the situation directly with her audience.
