APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda has praised President Bola Tinubu for his focus on the North, arguing that the current administration has delivered more than previous governments in the region.
Yilwatda said Tinubu’s policies have accelerated infrastructure development, particularly in road construction and gas projects that aim to boost local economies and improve connectivity across northern states.
He highlighted the president’s commitment to upgrading key transport corridors and expanding gas pipelines, which are expected to create jobs and attract investment to areas that have historically lagged behind.
According to Yilwatda, these initiatives represent a significant shift from past administrations that he believes paid less attention to northern development needs.
The APC leader’s comments come as the party seeks to consolidate its support in the region ahead of upcoming elections, positioning Tinubu’s record as a cornerstone of its campaign narrative.
