Peacock has announced that the animated follow‑up to the live‑action “Ted” movies will premiere on December 17, with the first eight episodes debuting on that date.
The series, titled “Ted: The Animated Series,” is set 12 years after the events of the original films and will follow the beloved talking teddy bear in a new, animated format.
It was first announced in May 2025, and additional episodes are scheduled to air in 2027.
Peacock, the streaming platform owned by NBCUniversal, has positioned the show as a fresh entry in the “Ted” franchise for both new viewers and longtime fans.
Fans of the franchise can look forward to the new animated adventures beginning on December 17, with more content to follow in the next year.
