A teenage girl was taken to hospital after falling from a moving double‑decker bus onto a busy road in Sydney’s northern beaches on Monday evening.
The incident occurred on Manly Road at Seaforth, when the girl fell from the B‑Line bus near the Spit Bridge while it was in motion.
Emergency services were called to the scene and responded promptly, treating the girl before transporting her to a hospital for further care.
Transport for NSW, the bus operator and the Rail, Tram and Bus union have all announced that they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fall.
