Football fans across Sub-Saharan Africa will be able to watch every match of the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Morocco 2026 live after CANAL+ confirmed that the tournament will be broadcast on SuperSport platforms.

The competition, scheduled to run from July 26 to August 16 across five venues in Rabat and Casablanca, will feature live coverage of all 34 matches on DStv, DStv Stream, GOtv and GOtv Stream. In Nigeria, fans can follow the action on DStv and GOtv through MultiChoice.

The 2026 edition marks a historic milestone as the biggest WAFCON tournament ever, following the Confederation of African Football’s (CAF) expansion of the competition from 12 to 16 teams.

Beyond the continental title, the tournament also serves as a qualification pathway to the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil. The four semi-finalists will secure automatic qualification, while two additional teams will advance to the intercontinental qualifying playoffs.

CANAL+ Africa and MultiChoice Group Chief Executive Officer, David Mignot, expressed excitement over the broadcast partnership.

“CANAL+ is delighted to confirm that the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026 will be broadcast on our SuperSport channels on DStv and GOtv throughout Sub-Saharan Africa,” Mignot said.

He noted that the tournament would be the third major football event aired since the merger between CANAL+ and MultiChoice Group.

“We look forward to bringing another major football event to our subscribers and football fans across Africa, following the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the Men’s TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year,” he added.

Subscribers will be able to watch the matches live on SuperSport Football Plus (DStv Channel 202), while match highlights and updates will also be available on SuperSport Blitz and the SuperSport digital platforms.
