Amazon Prime Video has announced that Ben Hardy will star in the upcoming series adaptation of the Skybound graphic novel Stillwater. The one‑hour drama will follow the story of the original comic, bringing its gritty narrative to the streaming platform.
The project was greenlit by Amazon in July, with the streaming service ordering eight episodes for the first season. Each episode is slated to run for approximately one hour, a format that has become common for Amazon’s original series.
Skybound, a publisher known for its work in the comic book and graphic novel arena, created the original Stillwater series. The adaptation will translate the source material’s visual style and plot into a televised format.
Amazon has a growing catalogue of adaptations based on comic books and graphic novels, and Stillwater adds to that trend. The network has not yet announced a release date for the new series.
