Vikings wide‑receiver Justin Jefferson is expected to be ready for the Sunday clash with the Miami Dolphins after an ankle sprain was confirmed by an MRI performed on Monday.
Sources told NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and ESPN’s Dan Graziano that the injury is not severe enough to sideline Jefferson for the entire week. The player could be listed on the active roster for the upcoming game.
Jefferson, who has been a key offensive weapon for Minnesota, will be monitored closely as the Vikings prepare to face Miami’s defense. The team’s medical staff has not yet issued a definitive status update.
If he does play, it would be the first time Jefferson has returned from an ankle injury in the 2024 season. The Vikings will look to his experience and speed to keep the Dolphins’ defense on its toes.
