Indianapolis Colts cornerback Sauce Gardner described his team's performance in their recent victory in London as "embarrassing," stating that the effort was unacceptable despite the win.
Gardner, who is a key defensive player for the Colts, expressed strong dissatisfaction with how the team played during the match. He characterized the collective output of the squad as a letdown, emphasizing that the level of play did not meet the standards expected of the franchise.
The comments were made following the game, which took place in London. While the Colts secured a win, Gardner indicated that the manner in which they achieved it was not something the team should be proud of.
He vowed that there would not be a repeat performance in future games, signaling a commitment to improving the team's execution and intensity on the field.
