Australia’s first Test tour of South Africa since the 2018 Sandpapergate incident kicks off with the opening match in Durban on Friday. The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports, drawing fans from both sides of the border.
The series will feature three Tests, with the first fixture scheduled for Friday evening in Durban. Both teams will be looking to assert their dominance early in the series.
Sandpapergate, which saw Australian cricket embroiled in controversy in 2018, has left a lasting impression on the sport. The tour marks a return to Test cricket for Australia in South Africa after a five‑year hiatus.
Both Australia and South Africa are currently ranked in the top two positions in the ICC Test rankings, setting the stage for a high‑stakes clash between the world’s best sides.
Viewers can follow the action live on Sky Sports, where commentary and analysis from former players will accompany the on‑field drama.
