Sam Worthington and Sofia Carson have been attached to star in and executive produce “The Parsifal Mosaic,” a new drama series currently in development at Hulu. The project represents a small screen adaptation of Robert Ludlum’s 1982 spy novel, bringing the author’s classic thriller to television audiences.
The series is being developed by Legendary Entertainment in collaboration with writer Wes Tooke. Tooke, who will serve as the showrunner, has previously worked on several high-profile television projects. His credits include serving as showrunner for USA Network’s “Colony” and contributing to Amazon’s “Jean-Claude,” among other works.
By securing Worthington and Carson for the lead roles, the production team has established a significant casting foundation for the adaptation. Both actors are also taking on executive producing duties, indicating a deep involvement in the creative direction of the series.
