The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar III, has called on religious leaders in Nigeria to stop shielding corrupt persons, stating that the fight against corruption must be a collective responsibility.
The Sultan made this call during the 2024 National Interfaith Dialogue on Corruption held in Abuja.
