Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, together with other Spanish football clubs, observed a minute’s silence to honour the victims of a train collision that occurred on Wednesday.
The clubs joined a national moment of remembrance, pausing during their activities to pay tribute to those affected by the accident.
Details of the collision, including the number of casualties and the exact location, have not yet been released by authorities.
Such gestures of solidarity are common in Spanish football, where clubs often pause matches or training sessions to commemorate tragedies that impact the wider community.
