Qatar is preparing to announce a new regional defence partnership aimed at strengthening its military infrastructure. The move is part of the Gulf nation’s ongoing efforts to modernise and expand its defence capabilities.
Details of the partnership, including the identities of the participating states and the scope of the collaboration, have not yet been released. Officials say the initiative will focus on joint training, equipment sharing and infrastructure development.
Qatar has long invested heavily in its armed forces, positioning itself as a key player in regional security. The forthcoming partnership is expected to build on that foundation by fostering closer ties with neighbouring militaries.
The announcement is anticipated to be made in the coming days, with further information to follow from the Ministry of Defence.
