Anambra State: Police Strengthen Security in Schools
Anambra State - The Anambra State Police Command has initiated an enhanced security deployment in schools and critical locations across the state as schools resume for the new academic session.
The initiative, in line with the Inspector-General of Police's Safe School Initiative, is being supervised by Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP Harrison Oruruo. According to the Police Spokesperson, Tochukwu Ikenga, the deployment involves police personnel, sister security agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.

Ikenga explained that the deployed personnel will maintain a high-visibility presence, monitoring activities within and around school environments, and assisting pupils and students, especially during peak arrival and departure periods. They will also promptly respond to security concerns.
