The Police Service Commission (PSC) has released the timetable for its 2026 promotion examinations, which will assess senior officers from Assistant Superintendent of Police up to Superintendent of Police.
The three‑day exam period runs from Monday, 28 September, to Wednesday, 30 September 2026. On Monday, officers seeking promotion from Superintendent of Police to Chief Superintendent of Police will be accredited between 8:00 a.m. and 10:50 a.m., with the examination taking place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Tuesday, 29 September, is reserved for the Deputy Superintendent of Police to Superintendent of Police promotion exam. Accreditation will again run from 8:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m., followed by the test from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
The final day, Wednesday, 30 September, is set aside for the Assistant Superintendent of Police to Deputy Superintendent of Police promotion exam. Officers will be accredited from 8:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m., with the examination scheduled from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m.
The PSC urged all participating officers to carefully note their accreditation and examination times as they prepare for the promotion exercise.
