Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have uncovered and sealed a suspected illegal factory allegedly used to produce and package adulterated alcoholic drinks in the Yafin area of Badagry, Lagos State.
The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abimbola Adebisi, said the raid followed credible intelligence provided by members of the public. According to her, officers recovered adulterated alcoholic drinks, empty bottles, various wine labels, and production utensils believed to have been used to produce and package the drinks.
She added that the factory was sealed after the operation, while the suspect was taken into police custody. "The recovered items have been taken to the station for further investigation," Adebisi said.
