Anambra State Police have arraigned six suspects in Awka on separate charges of defilement, sexual assault, child abuse and unlawful abortion.
The six individuals were presented before a court in the state capital, where they faced allegations ranging from the sexual exploitation of minors to the illegal termination of pregnancies.
During the arraignment, each suspect was formally charged and required to enter a plea. The court proceedings are set to continue as the cases move through the criminal justice system.
