Satellite imagery has revealed the existence of a luxury boat featuring a 50-meter swimming pool and water slides, located near the summer retreat of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. The discovery offers rare visual insight into the lifestyle of the country's supreme leader, highlighting amenities that are entirely inaccessible to the general population.
Exclusive Amenities
The vessel, captured in recent satellite photos, is equipped with high-end recreational facilities, including a large pool and water slides. These features stand in stark contrast to the daily realities faced by most North Koreans, for whom such leisure infrastructure is far out of reach.
The boat is situated in close proximity to Kim Jong Un's known summer retreat, suggesting it is part of a broader complex designed for the exclusive use of the leadership. The imagery provides a glimpse into the secluded and opulent environment in which the North Korean elite spends their holidays.
Insight into Leadership Lifestyle
While detailed information about the private lives of North Korean leaders is scarce, this satellite evidence contributes to a growing body of visual data regarding their habits. The presence of such a specialized vessel underscores the significant disparity between the living standards of the ruling class and those of ordinary citizens in the isolated state.
Analysts note that these images serve as a tangible indicator of the resources allocated to the personal comfort of the leadership, further illustrating the extreme wealth gap within North Korean society.
