Pete Byrne, the lead vocalist of the British new‑wave duo Naked Eyes, died in Los Angeles on 14 September after a brief illness. He was 74 years old.
Byrne co‑founded Naked Eyes in 1982 with his college friend Rob Fisher. The pair released their debut album, Burning Bridges, which peaked at No. 32 on the Billboard 200 chart.
