Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen and his partner, Stefanie Ladewig, have welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Liora Audrey.
Osimhen’s Turkish club, Galatasaray, announced the birth on Thursday in a social media post congratulating the couple and wishing their newborn daughter a long, healthy and happy life.
The couple’s first daughter, Hailey, was born in October 2022.
Ladewig, a Cameroonian-German fashion model and social media influencer, reportedly began dating the Nigerian forward in 2019, when he was playing for German Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.
Earlier this month, Turkish media reported that Ladewig had been involved in a road accident while heavily pregnant. She was reportedly unhurt in the crash, which involved three vehicles.
Osimhen is expected to feature for Galatasaray in their league fixture against Konyaspor on Friday after being named in the squad.
The 27-year-old forward goes into the match in impressive form after scoring twice in Galatasaray’s victory over city rivals Fenerbahce on Monday.
Galatasaray lead the league standings after nine matches, while Osimhen has scored eight goals, placing him among the competition’s joint-top scorers.
The birth of Liora Audrey comes as the Nigerian striker continues to make his mark in Turkish football, balancing his growing success on the pitch with a new addition to his family.
