Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Olorunleke Ojo said he is confident Enyimba will turn their fortunes around after a sluggish start to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The People’s Elephant have lost all three matches in the NPFL this year and currently sit at the bottom of the league table.
In their most recent outing, Emmanuel Deutsch’s side were beaten 1‑0 by Inter Lagos in Aba on Sunday.
“Football could be very funny, sometimes you give your all yet you don’t get what you wanted,” Ojo said after the game. “Hard luck my people. Better days ahead.”
Ojo, who has made 42 appearances for Enyimba, attributed the defeat to bad luck and urged his teammates to remain optimistic as they look to recover in the coming fixtures.
