Ogun monarch Oba Lukman Kuoye said Nigeria is on a path to economic recovery under President Bola Tinubu, citing a number of road projects and improved electricity supply as evidence of progress.
The Oba, who reigns over the traditional kingdom in Ogun State, praised the federal administration for its focus on infrastructure, noting that new and upgraded roads are already easing transport and boosting local commerce.
He also highlighted gains in the power sector, pointing to a steady increase in electricity availability across the region as a key factor in encouraging investment and supporting small businesses.
Oba Kuoye’s comments come amid a broader national push to revive the economy after years of slowdown, with the Tinubu government prioritising large‑scale public works and energy reforms.
