Meta announced a new handheld AI device at its annual Connect event in Silicon Valley, describing it as a “keychain charm” that will bring the company’s personal AI agent, Muse, into everyday life. The device, dubbed the Muse Charm, is a small pendant‑like gadget that can be clipped to keys or a bag and is activated by a fingerprint sensor.
During the keynote, CEO Mark Zuckerberg highlighted Muse as the “centerpiece” of Meta’s broader AI strategy. The Charm will display the Muse avatar on a built‑in screen and allow users to interact with the assistant in real time using voice commands.
According to the company, the device will be available to consumers in December. While details on pricing and compatibility remain undisclosed, the announcement signals Meta’s intent to embed AI assistants into everyday objects.
