The Madrid Audiovisual Cluster (MAC), an economic interest group that brings together close to 100 Madrid‑based companies, has launched a two‑day industry networking and peer‑learning programme at the Iberseries & Platino conference. The event will run from 29 September to 2 October in the Spanish capital.
MAC’s initiative is designed to help its members explore new business models and the latest developments in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. While AI will take centre stage again, the programme will also attempt to delve into other cutting‑edge topics that are shaping the audiovisual sector.
By convening industry peers in a focused, collaborative setting, MAC aims to foster knowledge exchange and stimulate innovation across the region’s film, television and digital media communities.
Participants will have the opportunity to attend workshops, panel discussions and round‑table sessions that cover the practical applications of AI in production, distribution and marketing, as well as broader trends in the global audiovisual market.
As the Madrid-based cluster continues to position itself as a key driver of the city’s creative economy, the Iberseries & Platino programme represents a strategic effort to keep local companies at the forefront of technological change.
