The president of Maryam Abacha American University Group, Prof Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has extended his warm felicitations to Nigeria’s First Lady, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu, on the occasion of her 66th birthday.

In a statement released on Monday, Prof Gwarzo praised the First Lady’s commitment to peaceful coexistence, describing her as “an epitome of humility and simplicity” who deserves celebration for reaching this remarkable milestone.
“As an epitome of humility and simplicity, the First Lady, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu, deserves to be celebrated on this auspicious occasion, as well as for achieving this remarkable milestone,” Prof Gwarzo said.
He added that Mrs Tinubu should be emulated by women leaders for her dedication to promoting peace and unity across the country, and lauded her sustained efforts toward women’s empowerment and the broader betterment of society.
University honour
Prof Gwarzo noted that, in recognition of these qualities, the management of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN) resolved to name its School of Law building after the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu. “On behalf of MAAUN Group of Universities, I wish to extend our warm greetings to the First Lady, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu, as she celebrates her 66th birthday,” he said.
Concluding his message, Prof Gwarzo wished the First Lady many more prosperous years in good health and prayed that Almighty Allah would grant her long life, enabling her to continue supporting the President in his efforts to move Nigeria to greater heights.
