London activists try to erect statue of jailed Palestinian leader
Activists have tried to erect a statue of Marwan Barghouti in London’s Parliament Square, but police intervened. Barghouti, sometimes referred to as the ‘Palestinian Mandela’, has been imprisoned by Israel since 2002.
