LIV Golf will decide its future by the end of October, an attorney told a bankruptcy hearing on Thursday.
Robert Fitzgerald, who represents the breakaway golf tour, told the court that the organization will know by 31 October whether it will wind down or move forward with a new “2.0” iteration.
“We’ll know by Oct. 31 if we’re going to wind down or whether 2.0 is going forward,” Fitzgerald said.
The statement comes as LIV Golf navigates financial challenges and legal scrutiny. The tour, which has attracted high‑profile players, has been in the public eye since its launch in 2022.
While the attorney did not provide details on the potential outcomes, the announcement signals that a decision on the tour’s viability is imminent.
