Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has stated that he has found "more peace" in Spain since transferring to the club, describing his time in the Spanish capital as a period of rapid cultural adaptation and personal happiness.
The 27-year-old France captain, who spent seven years at Paris Saint-Germain before joining Real Madrid in June 2024, shared these insights in a recent extensive interview with Diario AS. Mbappe made the move after refusing to extend his contract with PSG, a decision that led to his arrival at the Spanish club.
Since joining the Spanish capital club, the striker has recorded 94 goals and 14 assists in 110 matches. He has also started the current season strongly, registering eight goals and two assists in just seven appearances.

Mbappe emphasized his desire to integrate into local life, noting that while he still has to get used to certain aspects, he feels the experience improves daily. He clarified that his initial period of adjustment was primarily due to housing issues rather than dissatisfaction with the club or the city.
"I have never had a moment here when I felt unhappy," Mbappe explained. "Only at the beginning, when I did not have a home of my own. If you do not have your own place, you feel strange. You always long to go home, to be with your family. As soon as I had my own place, I was always happy in Madrid and in Spain."
