Brethren, we are gradually moving to the end of the seventh month. Let’s thank God for life. With a deep reflection, we’ll see that the LORD has indeed been good to us.
If you were to pay for oxygen that you breath daily, would you be able to pay? Let’s appreciate the LORD for his mercy that has kept us even from conception till now.
Many of us still have many goals that remain unrealized after six months into 2026. So, you begin to ask yourself, can I still make it before the year ends?
Some of these goals are our heart’s desires that have remained unfulfilled for years.
So, what is the next step especially with the failure of human efforts?
We may also be tempted to give up but instead, we should turn to the God of all possibilities.
Perhaps, your business has been dull since the beginning of the year, or you have a huge debt that seems impossible to pay.
For a couple anxious to have biological children, they may begin to ask to each other, is it still possible at this age.?
Beloved, we are dealing with an ageless God, God that has no life span, the one with whom all things are possible.
It could also be a case of someone, who works but lives from hand to mouth.
There are also cases of ladies and men of marriageable age that remain single.
Some are single because no one ever proposed, others are single because they do no want to marry the wrong person .
I mean some men are just scared of getting married.
However, God wants people to get married.
My authority is found in Genesis 2 vs. 18 ( KJV) ” And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him”.
It means therefore that the Lord programmes marriage before childbearing.
In other word, God prefers that children be born within a marriage.
Brethren, for a person in this state, you may need to ask God for a sign.
Abraham’s servant took this step as recorded in Genesis 24 vs. 12-15 ( NIV) “Then he prayed , ” O LORD, God of my master Abraham, give me success today, and show kindness to my master Abraham.
See, I am standing beside this spring, and the daughters of the townspeople are coming out to draw water .
May it be that when I say to a girl, Please let down your jar that I have a drink, and she says , ‘Drink and I’ll water your camels too- let her be the one that you have chosen for your servant Isaac. By this, I will know that you have shown kindness to my master”.
Before he had finished praying, Rebekah came out with her jar on her shoulder. She was the daughter of Bethuel son of Micah, who was the wife of Abraham’s brother Nahor”.
Brother, you cannot be a father without a wife, pray to God and the LORD would connect you with your life partner.
The same method is applicable to sisters too but whoever would ask God for a sign must be in a relationship with the LORD.
To those that are waiting on the Lord for biological children, my message for you is, ” it is not too late”. You might have heard pastors say that God is never late. That is indeed true.
When human beings conclude that a case is hopeless, that is when the LORD shows up to prove that He is the God of all possibilities.
For a man like Job that Satan took all he had, including his children, still demonstrated his faith and trust in the Lord when he said in Job 42 vs. 2 ( New American Standard Bible) ” I know that You can do all things. And that no plan is impossible for you”.
The question is, what are you saying to yourself ? What you say to yourself is what you are also saying to God.
This is where faith is crucial. If you continue to say to yourself that the year is gone and I cannot achieve my aim, you are moving yourself away from your miracles with the word of your mouth.
Brethren, even if you have evidence that the forces of darkness are behind a particular challenge, your negative thoughts and words, may delay or deny you a miracle.
The time that you are going through a challenge should actually be the time to say positive things to yourself.
A pastor once said, ” the difference between the one that receives a miracle and the one that does not get a miracle is unbelief”.
To what extent do you believe?
If you believe that there is a God of possibilities, you would avoid saying to yourself that ” time is gone”.
Time may be gone in your reasoning but the one that created time is not gone.
He remains constant and is not bound by time. That is why He is called the Ancient of Days.
Last week there was the story of a spectacular miracle of God’s goodness to a couple Mr. & Mrs. Olonade that God blessed with a set of quadruplets.
Her story is being shared here to lift up the faith of others and to demonstrate that God is never late.
Mrs. Olonade and her husband, Segun, are both workers in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, (R.C.C.G.) Ojodu Parish.
According to the report by Gospel Firm News, she got married at the age 48. Ordinarily, women are deemed to have reached menopause at age 45.
She got married, December 12, 2023 at a time that many would have concluded that she might never be married.
Giving her testimony she said, ” I waited for my husband and I told God I did not want to wait again for children”.
According to her, initial medical scan showed that she was carrying a set of twins but as the pregnancy developed more babies were seen and she eventually gave birth to a set of quadruplets, two boys and two girls.
God wiped out the delay with a special miracle.
My prayer for you is that you would testify to a special miracle before the year ends.
The story of this couple should remind us that God is never late. It also confirms that what we say is what we get when we have total faith in God.
Beloved, use the power in the tongue to say positive things to yourself. Say it also to God in prayer as Mrs. Olonade did.
Numbers 14 vs. 28: ” Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you”.
Brethren, she spoke against the spirit of delay with prayers and God answered her.
What are you saying to yourself, what are you saying to God?
Go ahead and speak against the spirit of stagnation, spirit of delay and see God in action.
Our God remains the only one that can make possible what is impossible for human beings.
Before this year, ends, what has remained a challenge would become a testimony as you hold on to Jesus.
I see you celebrate before the year ends.
Hallelujah!
