Iran’s foreign ministry announced today that it has learned the United States may be preparing a new round of strikes, and warned that any such attack would be met with retaliation “without limitations.” The statement, issued in Tehran, was aimed directly at Washington amid heightened regional tensions.
The warning comes as the long‑standing rivalry between Tehran and Washington remains fraught, with both capitals regularly exchanging threats over a series of disputes that have spanned decades.
In the ministry’s remarks, officials emphasized that Iran would respond decisively to any US military action, stating:
“We will retaliate without limitations.”
At the same time, fighting continues to rage in Yemen, where the civil war between the Houthi movement and the internationally recognised government has persisted, drawing in regional powers and causing widespread humanitarian suffering.
International observers have called for restraint from all parties, urging diplomatic channels to prevent further escalation and to address the underlying conflicts driving the tensions in the Middle East.
