The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed a high-profile roster of Nigerian entertainers to its Entertainment and Creative Economy Directorate, a move aimed at bolstering its campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections. The 33-member council was unveiled on Thursday by the Kadri Obafemi Hamzat Media Centre, with a formal inauguration scheduled for Friday, September 18, 2026, at the APC Secretariat on ACME Road in Ikeja.

He will be joined by actress Eniola Badmus in the role of Deputy Director, while Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka has been named the Director. Notable actresses listed as members include Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi, Bimbo Akintola, Fathia Balogun, and Tayo Sobola. Veteran actors Adebayo Salami, known as Oga Bello, Saheed Balogun, and Bukky Wright are also part of the council, alongside other industry figures such as Yinka Quadri, Remi Oshodi, and Foluke Daramola.
The musical contingent of the directorate features several well-known Fuji musicians, including Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Abass Akande Obesere, and Adewale Ayuba.
