The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) has announced a reduction in the price of petrol in Abuja, Nigeria.
Petrol Prices Vary Across Abuja
According to a market survey conducted by DAILY POST, NNPCL retail outlets in Gwarimpa, Kubwa, and other parts of Abuja and its environs have adjusted their petrol prices to N1,405 per litre from N1,430 per litre.
However, NNPCL outlets along Kubwa Expressway, Air Junction, and Wuse Zones 4 and 5 have maintained their petrol prices at N1,395 per litre.
Dangote Refinery's Price Cut
The majority of filling stations in Abuja have yet to follow suit, as Nigerians continue to call for further reductions amid crude oil prices of $92 per barrel for West Texas Intermediate (WTI) and $104 per barrel for Brent crude.
