Fidson has mobilised its staff and volunteers to clean communities across Lagos as part of World Cleanup Day, under a new initiative called Project Clean Sweep 2026.
The project was organised in partnership with the African Cleanup Initiative (ACI) and forms part of Fidson’s corporate social responsibility and sustainability programme.
On the day of the global event, volunteers gathered in several Lagos neighbourhoods to collect litter from streets, parks and public spaces, helping to reduce the city’s waste burden.
By working with ACI, Fidson aims to raise awareness of environmental stewardship and encourage wider community participation in waste management.
