Israel Afeare, the personal logistics manager to Afrobeats star Davido, has categorically denied allegations that his principal played any role in the recent controversies involving singers Naira Marley and VDM Mohbad.
Known professionally as Israel DMW, the aide addressed the public speculation surrounding the dispute, asserting that Davido was not involved in the saga. The statement serves to clarify the Afrobeats icon's position amidst the ongoing media attention on the interpersonal conflicts within the Nigerian music industry.
The denial comes at a time when social media platforms have been abuzz with discussions regarding the tensions between the artists. By publicly distancing Davido from the Naira Marley and VDM Mohbad situation, Afeare aims to prevent further misinterpretation of the singer's actions or intentions.
While the source material does not provide specific details on the nature of the original controversy, the manager's intervention highlights the sensitivity of public figures' personal and professional relationships in the entertainment sector.
Davido remains one of the most prominent figures in the global Afrobeats scene, and his team's swift response underscores the importance of managing public perception in the face of industry disputes.
