Leaders of India’s Cockroach Janta Party have accused the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of “waging war” on its own citizens, according to a statement released by the party.
The Cockroach Janta Party, a political group operating in India, said the allegation reflects deep concerns about the impact of current policies on the Indian populace.
In the statement, party officials used the phrase “waging war” to describe what they view as a systematic approach by the Modi administration that harms ordinary Indians.
Narendra Modi has been Prime Minister of India since 2014, heading the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and overseeing a range of economic and social reforms that have drawn both domestic and international attention.
The Cockroach Janta Party did not provide further details on specific actions they consider to be part of this alleged “war,” and no response from the Modi government was reported at the time of publication.
