Banijay Entertainment announced the launch of a new dating reality format, Date Knight, during the annual Mipcom TV market.
The show is being produced by Nordisk Film TV, a division of Banijay Nordic, and will be commissioned by the Danish public broadcaster DR.
Date Knight invites singles to step into a spectacular “romantasy” setting, blending elements of romance and fantasy to create a unique dating experience.
Mipcom, held each year in Cannes, France, is a key platform for broadcasters and distributors to discover and acquire fresh television content.
With Date Knight added to its slate, Banijay is expanding its portfolio of new intellectual property aimed at global audiences at the market.
