The Saudi Civil Aviation Authority announced that all operations at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh have been suspended following a second attack at the facility this week.

The authority said the latest incident, reported earlier in the week, prompted an immediate halt to arrivals and departures as security forces secured the perimeter and began investigations.

This suspension follows a previous attack at the same airport earlier in the week, which also disrupted flight schedules and raised concerns about the safety of the nation’s main aviation hub.

King Khalid International Airport, located on the outskirts of Saudi Arabia’s capital, is the country’s primary gateway for international and domestic travel, handling millions of passengers each year.

Airlines have been instructed to cancel or reroute flights, and passengers are being advised to seek alternative arrangements while authorities assess the situation and work to restore normal operations.
