As a member of the Oakland Athletics, Gelof was involved in an incident at the Detroit-based park that he claims resulted in harm directly linked to the structure of the outfield fence.
The complaint seeks financial compensation for the alleged injuries, placing the responsibility on the entities that own and operate the stadium infrastructure.
