PDP Asks APC to Prove Yayi's Ogun Roots
PDP governorship candidate, Olabisi Adebutu, has challenged APC’s governorship candidate, Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, to prove his Ogun State origins if he is serious about the claim that he is an indigene of the state.
Adebutu made the call after the Ogun State chapter of the APC disputed the claim by the PDP campaign that gunmen attacked his convoy during a campaign rally in Ososa, a town in Ogun State, where Yayi is said to be from.
The APC, in a statement by its Publicity Secretary, Femi Nuberu, claimed the incident occurred in Yayi’s hometown, Ososa, and was carried out by security personnel attached to Adebutu.
