Abia Central senatorial candidate Sen. Nkechi Nwaogu has clarified that she is not a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), insisting that she joined the New Nigeria Development Party (NDC) before the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) deadline.
The clarification follows accusations from the APC that Nwaogu had previously been affiliated with the party. In a statement, the NDC candidate stressed that her formal registration with the NDC took place well before the INEC deadline for party affiliation.
