House of Representatives Speaker Tajudeen Abbas unveiled a series of development projects in Kaduna State, simultaneously distributing vehicles and equipment to local youths and women as part of a empowerment initiative.
The launch, held in the state capital, showcased the government's commitment to infrastructure and socio‑economic development, though specific details of the projects were not disclosed in the announcement.
During the ceremony, Abbas presented the beneficiaries with a number of vehicles and assorted tools intended to support small‑scale enterprises and improve mobility for the participants.
Abbas, who represents the federal constituency of Zaria, emphasized that the provision of equipment aims to boost employment opportunities and foster entrepreneurship among Kaduna’s young population and women.
Kaduna, one of Nigeria’s most populous northern states, has faced challenges in job creation and infrastructure. The speaker’s initiative aligns with broader federal efforts to address these issues through targeted investments and capacity‑building programs.
