2027: Nigerians will rise against you – VDM issues warning to Wike [VIDEO]

Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan or VDM, has issued a stern warning to Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), stating that Nigerians will rise against him if he attempts to manipulate the outcome of the 2027 general elections.

The warning was delivered in a video shared on Instagram, where VDM reacted to recent comments made by Wike. The FCT Minister had previously declared that President Bola Tinubu would secure victory in the 2027 presidential election regardless of how the votes were counted.

In summary of what Wike is saying, the election will be rigged in favour of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, regardless of how the votes come out. Tinubu is just definitely going to emerge as the winner.

VDM criticized the current administration, arguing that such impunity has only emerged under President Tinubu’s regime. He accused the President of enabling what he described as "intoxicated, power-intoxicated fools" to speak freely to the Nigerian people without consequence.

The activist further drew parallels with the suspension of Sim Fubara, a sitting governor who was removed from office due to issues with his predecessor rather than allegations of embezzlement or public dissatisfaction with his performance. VDM used this example to question Wike’s authority, stating, “Wike, you feel you are God over the people? Wike, you need to calm down because this is just a reminder that the people are bigger than you.”

Concluding his address, VDM predicted that if Wike attempts to interfere with the 2027 electoral process, the public will mobilize to stop him. He warned that such actions would lead to exhaustion for the minister, urging Wike to exercise caution in his political maneuvers.
