In Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria’s Super Eagles have opened their camp in preparation for a 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double‑header against Tanzania’s Taifa Stars.
Coach Éric Chelle will lead the team’s first training session on Tuesday at the practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium. The 24‑man squad, unveiled on Saturday, will be joined by invited players who are expected to arrive at the camp on Monday.
Nigeria will host Tanzania at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Friday for Matchday Three, before traveling to Dar es Salaam for the return leg on Tuesday, November 17.
The Super Eagles are keen to recover from their recent defeat to Guinea‑Bissau and will look to secure a positive result in both fixtures to keep their qualification hopes alive.
